Oil Pick up Pipe 1300/1600

Simple one to answer, this one - I hope!!

Is the oil pick pipe different between a 1300 xflow and a 1600 xflow? I've just changed the 1300 sump I put on a 1600 engine as I didn't realise the conrods fouled the sump due to the longer stroke but I think the rods are hitting the pick up pipe as they did last time. I've tried to bend it out of the way but I think when I bolt the sump down it's pushing the pipe towards the conrods. The pipe I have at the moment has a bulbous course filter on the end about the size of a tangerine (only way I can describe the size!!)

Hi

The oil pickups are different between the 1300 and 1600 xflows, and as you say if you fit a 1300 one
to a 1600 xflow it will foul the crank, I bent mine away, and not had a problem yet

Steve

Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at
