Lexus 2005 diff with earlier shafts

Does anyone know if a 2005 onwards lexus diff (designed for push drive shafts) will work with earlier driveshafts that are stub shaft design?

Looking at the shafts they look similar, tried the stub shaft from a toyota gt4 diff, way too small splines!

Evidently the lexus diff is is far bigger than the GT4 inner workings.
