using escort axle on a locost build
but on the rear axle which is drum brakes i have done the set up as per chris gibbs but just about to weld up the rear 50x50x3mm rhs and it seems very close to the drums, furthermore the outlet pipes on the rear brakes on the axel wont allow me to fit the rhs unless at an angle what can i do

I don't know the details of your build but it is quite common to have to rotate and redrill the brake back plate to fit the holes in then axle.
