IVA Approved Mirrors

Hi there,

First post

Me and a friend are building an Onyx Bobcat and need some wing mirrors for it. I have looked but cannot find any IVA approved wing mirrors that are only 200mm long (To be less than the width of the car) or ones that fold back when hit.

Anyone help me out here?

cheers guys and gals

Thanks for that mate, great build pictures!!

With the IVA wording (PAIN IN THE TOOSH!!) it says:

An exterior mirror must be a minimum of 40mm high and 70mm long, and be able to incorporate a measurement parallel to the height of the rectangle at least 70mm in length within the lens.

What does the bit in bold mean please?

I failed on this point with my racetech mirrors. As they are 50mm tall

At some point within the mirror you must be able to get a 70mm tall vertical line in.

That was my only fail point but the examiner let me go to a local bike shop to buy some mirrors and the even examiner helped me fit them.
