Clutch adjustment Zetec/MT75

Has anyone a recommended pedal height at bite for the clutch?

I've set all the pedal heights but the bite of the clutch was about 10/20mm from the floor. Once I adjust the clutch to the desired bite height, the pedal height increased to about 20mm above the others!

I'm sure this is a common issue with a cable clutch setup. I have no adjustment at the pedal end and was considering fitting one.

I'd be grateful for any advise..........................................Thanks.
