Softop issues...

Well had the car on the road for a year now and looking to get a softop... I made a bit of a screw up when I bought my fibreglass seats... They were about an inch taller than the rollbar but I have tweaked the mounts and now the seats are just under the rollbar however they still protrude outside the rollbar profile on the sides. I didn't want to add a soft top frame but looks like I might not have any choice.. Anyone had a similar issue an how did you resolve?

Thanks
Dave B

Could always just sew in little pockets to go over seats

Take it to a sailmaker
They make loads of odd shaped covers

That is the plan but it will not fit straight on without some mods... Going to arrange a run to soft bits for sevens and see what they can offer...

If they don't want to know, try cj marine near tesco's in chichester. The make canopies for high end motor boats but also do cars/domestic.
I got my material for a tonneau cover from there.
