cosworth rack info

Hi all,

Does anyone know the spline size for a Sierra cosworth rack? I am presuming (dangerous!) that if it had PAS it was the larger 3/4 48 spline fitting - but did they they all have PAS? If not, I hope it is the 9/16 36 spline that I want!

The reason I ask is that the downlink might solve my steering problem but don't want to buy more eBay scrap without checking!!!

Thanks

They all had pas.

Not sure on splines soz, but the later 4x4 Sierra and Escort Cosworth had a different rack and down link, these had the UJ on the down link next to the rack.
The 2wd Sierras had the rubber 'biscuit' type bush on the down link the same as a standard sierra.

So I would hazard a guess and say the 2wd's are the smaller spline type,4x4 the bigger just going by down link design.

Thanks - I am trying to replace the rubber biscuit with a UJ on my link and was looking for an off the shelf solution - I thought the Cosworth link might do it but I now think they all had PAS
