Overfueling

Zetec 2 lt blacktop running on ford ecu..( BASH) intermitent rough running..
all sensors are new that came with new engine..
put diagnostics on comes up with fuel system overload.. code po 172
a comes up with code po443 thats the evac thing..
any ideas

You need to access OBD II live data as a first step, this will give you an idea if the sensors that affect fueling are giving sensible readings.
However a P 0443 indicates a problem with purge valve control circuit, as a test try disconnecting the purge pipework from the the manifold and capping it off.

P0172 Is Fuel system too rich (bank1)

Need to check things like fuel pressure, map sensor, airmass meter, throttle position sensor etc.

If it is non standard, check that the injectors aren't too big or leaking etc.

FIRST START CAR STATIC THIS REFERS TO THE ABOVE QUESTION CAN ANYONE THROW SOME LIGHT ON THESE
ROUGH RUNNING FIGURES ???????

Something far wrong with a LTFT 10% or more. A 10% LTFT won't general trigger a fueling code but the emission monitor tests fail will on the cat effectiveness.

Sounds like a vacuum leak which could point to the evap control valve.

not running evap valve as far as i know
plenum chamber standard throttle body a maf,,,and idle control valve
