4age install

I am beginning to connect up the wiring loom for the 4age 20v in my latest project and could do with some guidance. I don't have a wiring diagram as yet but was looking at the loom yesterday and connecting all the plugs etc. All the plugs are labelled and fit correctly but I am not sure about the connections to the battery. There is a battery terminal on one end of the loom which looks like it should be on the + ve and another end of wires has a ring on which I thought was for the -ve. If I connect like this it causes a sparking from the battery.
Have I got this wrong?
If someone has a picture of their loom connections it would be a great help.
Thanks Rich

If you have a bunch of ring terminals maybe one of them is for the opposite terminal you think it is for.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
