IVA escort steering column

Does anyone know if the escort column fitted to the striker will pass the IVA as it doesn't appear to be collapsible?

If not can it be altered or will I need to use a different column, if so what would be a suitable replacement?

I had the same dilemma with my Fury, then decided irrespective of passing the IVA I didn't fancy a 900mm metal rod pinning me to the seat in the event of an accident. With a couple of extensions and adapter uJ's from CBS I used a Sierra column.

My Fury passed IVA with an escort mk2 column : I used Westfield's iva padded steering wheel and collapsible boss. Made by Astrali.

No probs.
