powder coating wheels

Looking to get some 16" wheels refurbed.
Do you have to take the tyres off the rims or are the powder coater set up to do this.
Also any recommendations for someone to do it local to me in North Lincolnshire as the peope I used to use have shut down.

powder coating is baked on in an oven 180 degrees or so So yes the tyres come off but places will be set up to take off and put back on for a small charge

Just make sure whoever does the powder coating doesn't use high temperatures to burn off any previous coatings (yes, some do this). The result will be a ruined set of wheels that will fail in service pretty quickly.
