Clubs or builders in the midlands area

Hi,
I am just starting out on my first ever build, a Haynes roadster using a Talon flat pack chassis kit and mx5 donor.
I've just removed the body so now have a rolling chassis to remove all my donor bits, my flat pack chassis kit is waiting patiently in the corner of the garage.

Are there any builders near me or can anyone recommend clubs or meets where I can get some inspiration, tips and to just ogle over some other kit cars?
I live in Rutland so can easily get to places like Leicester, Peterbourgh Grantham etc.

Cheers Dean

Rhocar has an active Leicester area, could be worth a look.

The last one was on the 20th April, so I assume the next one will be around the 18th May?

Hi Dean,
Yes as stated earlier the 18th is correct.
However this month we are having it at the Black Horse Main Street, Foxton, Market Harborough LE16 7RD at around 7.30 ish
Come along..... Rhocar is open to all makes of kits, and we do have members in Rutland and a few in the surrounding villages.

Only thing that could scupper it (as always) is if there is a downpour of rain.

Thank you for the replies.
I will definitely come to the black horse on the 18th. Funnily enough I passed by there on Monday on my way to foxton locks.

I really like the GBS zero have seen the company at a few different car events.

Should I sign up on the rhocar forum? So I can keep up to date on meets, would they be interested in a build thread of a non Robin Hood/ GBS car?
