Metal Clad Roof Design - Help

Could someone architecturally minded or with experience help me in the structural design of a metal clad roof?

My friendly joiner can advise if I wish to use wooden rafters etc but I may go down the route of steel purlins, rafter, etc but no idea of correct design required.

This is a L shaped outbuilding with double pitched roof and overhang. Will supply measurements etc to anyone able to advise.

Thanks in advance

James

which company will you use for the sheeting and cold ford sections ?

all the big makes have guides on selecting the right sections and how to do the details - some even offer a specifying service...

here's Steadmans stuff: (the ones we normally use)
