Speedometer Conversion

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me i currently have a magnetic speedo which is terrible as the bracket is lose, so i decided to go ahead and buy one of these http://www.digital-speedos.co.uk/cable-drive-converter-for-ford-type-9--mt-75-gearbox-157-p.asp for my smithes clock, my question is it just as simple as unplugging the magentic cable and plugging this new cable in and running the three wires to the correct postions in the car eg ground postive and signal out to speedo

Ring them - I bought one of their speedos recently and rang several times with questions, I always got a polite and helpful response.
