200 cell or 400 cell cat

It's time to mock up th exhaust etc on the tiger so i need to think about a CAT, what have people gone for?. I'm running 2.0 black top on TB's and emerald ecu, with a 4-1 stainless manifold to 2"pipe and R1 can.
I found several online but am unsure whether I need 200/400 cell etc etc. I will be running wide band Lambda as well if it makes a difference

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would guess at 400 for the IVA as that is the standard Cat amount.

200 cell is classed as a sports cat,the one I've used previously on a tin top took a lot of warming up to get the car through the MOT.

I passed IVA with a 200 cell cat. MX5 engine with standard ECU

With an emerald don't you get switchable maps? Could one be an MOT/IVA map?

Don't need one on the Lotus but when making up ones for customers I use 200.

I buy stainless, not ceramic, as they can break up, and the coned bodies are usually
409 so must be welded with 309 filler.

With the 400 being standard size is there going to be a noticeable BHP difference between the 2.

3 switchable maps on the emerald. 1, iva/mot 2, normal 3, burning backwards through a hedge

I have a 200cell in mine made by these guys, http://tubeengineers.co.uk/. They make exhausts for loads of kit makers and are the supplier for the Fury. Fantastic piece of work and great for a visit if you can get there. Used on a 2.0ltr zetec and believe 200 cell is what you need when I asked the same question, 400 is OTT

Pictures of mine are in my build blog here
