FS ADR 1000 Sports ideal winter project - Image Heavy

Hi all,

I'm reluctantly selling my ADR 1000 Sports (bought a house). I bought this without an engine a few years ago from a fellow forum member with the intention of using it as a track day car. It would make a fantastic winter project for someone. It is my understanding that the car did 2 test days after being built and was then put into storage for some years before being bought by someone on this forum, they removed the old K1000 engine but then circumstances changed and they sold it to me. Basically its not far off a new car, just a bit tattie from being in storage and being used as a shef in my garage for the last few years.

The car has since had a super blackbird engine installed. The engine has about 20k miles on it and I have had the balance shafts removed and the oil feeds blanked so the #3 big end oil issue is no more. The sump has been shorted and a baffle plate made. Also have a compete workshop manual with wiring diagrams.

The chassis has been stiffened / strengthened with a full width roll hoop like the ADR 2 and 3 (original included if you want to put it back) The side impact bars have also been triangulated.

The parts used on this car are all very high quality. Stainless steel fasteners throughout, fully adjustable rose joint and spherical bearing suspension, Push rod operated Nitron gas adjustable shocks, 6 point racing harness, carbon kevlar panels + seat, Aero Fiberglass bodywork with full width rear wing, Willwood breaks, 3 sets of centre lock 3 piece wheels, 1 set of slicks, 1 set of never used wets and a couple of spare rear slicks, alloy uprights, integrated fire extinguisher system, ADRs own digidash (i have also found the manual and wiring diagrams), adjustable antiroll bar, front crash box, removable steering wheel, foam filled fuel tank, external fuel pump, LED rain light, lightweight battery (New),exhaust silencer, Mocal oil cooler, sprocket to prop adapter, also comes with a set of spare gearbox internals, spare camshafts, spare generator and a few other engine parts.

Main jobs that need doing> Propshaft, exhaust manifold, cooling pipes, gear linkage, wiring (already labeled), bit of bodywork / paint.

£5750

IIRC a running one sold a year or so ago for just under 8k

check you don't already have the window open in the background.
That's usually the cause of it not opening when clicked

I'm ok with this arrangement if someone else just wants the other bits. Happy to split as long as I can get rid of all of it.

Cheers
