There will normally be sticker or code on the car somewhere....B pillar, glove box, under the bonnet etc. I've even seen the sticker in the boot on some models....

What is the make and model of the car?

This may help.... http://www.wikihow.com/Find-the-Paint-Color-Code-on-Ford-Vehicles

you should be able to find the ford name for the colour by looking at the ford etis information

http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do
should be able to lookup from number plate or vin, but seems to work differently in different browsers.

the colour you describe, could be "burnished glow" ;-)

edit to add
else pm me the vin and I can see what I can find

the etis data /should/ also give a list of all the options as built, but again it depends on the browser as to how much information is displayed. (list should be about a full page)

if it only gave two items then there is much more information available, [two of the browsers I use only show two items, but for my ford there are about 60!] like the type of 'infotainment' system fitted and so on
as I said before, pm me the vin if you like, and I should be able to find the full list; which I would then pm back.

edit, Steve pm'ed me the vin, and now has a list of circa 200 features fitted/not fitted on this car as built.
