zzr100 carb fuel pump - quick question

I'm not very familiar with carbs and I'm looking on eBay for a pump for my zzr1100 engine.

The stock pumps dont seem to have a regulator? Do they just turn off when the pressure is met?

I found this which suggests 1.6 to 2.3 psi?

I was hoping to use this pump this but the pressure range seems wide at 1.5 to 4 psi?

Use a bike pump, around the same price and built for the job

That's what I might end up doing. Unfortunately the pike pumps dont seem to be as neat and are cylindrical, so not quite as easy to mount.

also,

all the replacement zzr1100 pumps on eBay seem to be for the D models.

I believe mine to be a C (Vin is ZXT10C). Is there a difference in the pumps? I cant see how there would be other than how it mounts to the bike perhaps?

Pretty much any carbed sportbike pump will do - ZX9, ZX6 etc.

perfect, thanks.

I've noticed most of the pumps have a small plastic nipple in addition to the main 10mm in/out lines. What is it? return line, breather?

On the OEM ZX6 pumps I've got they don't have that additional feed.

No idea what it is for, but OEM pumps don't need a return - they stop pumping automatically when the fuel system is up to pressure and then kick back in as needed. Neither do they need a breather.

^^ what he said - get an OE spec one for a ZX6/ZX9

if you get one off an old bike it'll even come with a nice little mounting bracket that holds it and the filter:
