Fuel gauge options?

After some help/advice - have an MK Indy R1 and though I have low warning light on the R1 Clocks in an ideal world a fuel gauge would be handy, is there any option to add a sender unit to the tank or the fact one wasn’t fitted when the tank was fabricated mean this is now not an option? If it’s a huge effort I’ll make do.....

Cheers
Pete

If you have a low fuel warning light on the gauge that suggests you have some kind of fuel level sensor. do you know what's already on the tank?

Did you use an MK supplied tank?

I did on my Indy and fitted the Sierra float sender to it. IIRC it had a hole already in the top and an internal baffle to prevent fuel slosh.

Cheers guys, I’m pretty sure it’s an MK supplied tank yes, I’ve only had the car for a few weeks and currently on holiday so can’t go and check, I’ll have a proper look when back and update on that.
