2003 MX5 Wiring Assistance

Hi,

I wondered if anyone might be able to offer any assistance on wiring for my build, it's a 2003 1.8 loom which I am obviously modifying etc.

I'm currently shortening a load of cables and I have a question regarding how things are grounded.... There seems to be ground wires running all over the place, some black and yellow, some black and white a d some black and red....

What is the requirement for the separate circuits....??

Thanks

Jon

There are 3 blocks of grounds at the front of the car and one more to the rear. All the grounds are black.
Don’t shorten the wires, just coil them up. Cut out the abs, airbag, central locking, electric windows, radio, door shuts, there’s loads more - just be systematic and make sure it runs each time you remove something.

The plugs can be unpicked with a small screwdriver so you don’t need to cut anything and be brutal.
