Throttle body hose clips

My bike ITBs GSXR 1000 k2) are connected to the ST170 inlet manifold by silicone hoses. But occasionally one slips off at the throttle body end.
I think the jubilee clips used are too wide, but I am struggling to find narrow hose clips.
Anybody got some ideas? Ebay not particularly helpful, the used clips never have the size listed.

Do search on flebay for Mikalor Supra Hose Clamps-Clips Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Car T Bolt Exhaust clamps.
They should hold them on and come in various sizes.

I use those on my exhaust (and excellent in that application) but they are even wider than the clips currently fitted. Manufacturers use very narrow clips, there is not much for the hose to grip onto so if the clip is too wide it starts pushing the throttle body off. Ideally something 5-6mm wise would be good...

I cant help with the clips but Have you tried coating the inside of the silicone hose that connects to the throttle body with hairspray before you refit? When the hairspray dries it becomes a bit like glue. Ive used that on cooling pipes before and not had any issues

Do you have anything else supporting the TBs? With my bike carbs I use some ali brackets to give some mechanical support, though as I use the standard bike rubbers mine are pretty solid.

These are 9mm thick

Hairspray?? Not that much hair.... (wife may have some though)
I was wondering about some sort of sealant/adhesive to help, so may give this a go.

9mm, I have 12 at the moment (came with the bodies), so much better... will see if I can find anything narrower first though (after all, I only have a half days work today, thats more than most days at the moment)

Yes, I have a couple of brackets supporting the throttle bodies, seems a bit hopeful relying on silicone hoses!

Thanks for the replies so far chaps.

I've done a similar think to AJ, additional support via a angle bracket underneath. Solid as a rock.

I used Mikalor 9mm wide clips on a previous build with silicon hoses and GSXR itbs.

ok after a little searching,
'ear clamps' seem to be the thing, can certainly get them in 7mm width
see pg 16 et seq
https://cdn3.evostore.io/documents/fusion_us/fus_us_oet_catalog.pdf

I also found these that might be ideal, and at £5 for 10 not outrageously expensive edit £8 for the lager ones...

edit, more expensive but reusable

Ah, those are what are used on OEM CV gaitors. Could have worked I guess, but shall try the narrowish hose clips when they arrive.

Good idea though.
