That's a new one. Would you not think the manufacturer knew what they were doing by making engines with a max and min oil level mark or are these purely decoration so you can fill over?

Fill to max, bike off stands and vertical


Not sure if this has been answered............

The engine in the bike may not be at the same angle as it is in the car. I always overfilled by 250/500ml on my R1 5vy engine Roadrunner Racing SR1 single seater and my GSXR 1000 WP single seater Elden.
