Neck warmer

Have you ever tried a neck warmer? I hadn't till my wife got me one for Christmas. Sockshop Heat holders is the brand, very furry inside. I had no idea how much heat your neck lost, feels like I have a hot water bottle wrapped round my neck! She got me one of their woolly hats too, blimey I'm cooking out there in the garage. Highly recommended.

Have one I used to wear with my helmet when driving my kit car in the cold. Makes a massive difference to keeping you warmer and more comfortable.

I have that as well (SWMBO accuses me of looking homeless at times as I'm not the snappiest of dressers either). It's come about through not wanting to pay for razors and foam or spend the time faffing about shaving. Head and beard get a once a month all over grade 2 shave with the clippers - job done.

It's also removed any possibility of a bad hair day

I used to shave when I was in my teens, when the beard started to appear. After a while I decided that shaving was a bl**dy stupid way to start the day, so I grew a beard. That was roughly 50 years ago!

My wife of 47 years has never seen me without a beard - she'd probably call 999 if I walked in without it, thinking that I was a burglar!

I share your views entirely, shaving IMHO is a waste of time. My wife (family & friends) are more than happy with bearded me so that's how I roll.

Mr Whippy, you look like a cross between Wilf from the The Bash St Kids and a terrorist.

Anyway, I normally use those buff tube things round my neck in the winter, like yours but thinner, they work for me. However I have ordered a heat holder one for the really chilly dog walks. Thanks for posting.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.
