If its Ford go to Halfords. They do complete spring kits for most models. And they are pretty cheap.

Some of the parts are common to many other models so you can sometimes sort through and find a very similar spring in a kit for another model. Especially the ones to hold on the shoes. My Cortina axle is made up with springs and clips from a Sierra, you just have to put a washer on the rod to stop it pulling through.

I went to Halfords a while ago for Sierra ones. Only 2 packs on shelf, one bag had been opened. I took them and found open bag had 2 bits missing. They couldnt get any more as they had been de-listed. Luckily missing bits were in another kit.
I hope you manage to get some old stock ones - if you can i recommend getting 2 sets.

I also got the shoes half price - again end of line.
