GTS W7DE. On the road!!

Well, after a few weeks exchanging paperwork with the DVLA. I am a proud owner of a set of number plates and a tax disc. So, I took the missus out in it for it's first drive since the SVA. What a feeling!!

Just in time for the lovely weather we are meant to be having this week.

Taking it easy is top of the agenda nowadays! Yesterday the missus had our 15 week pregnancy scan and heard our little kiddies heartbeat for the first time..

Could this week get any better!!

Anway, a few more pics.... Apologies to those of you on dialup

When is the Newark show?

You know you're not supposed to park on those lines! :-)

Very nice indeed - congratulations all round!

I live next to a primary school and the lines only seem to be enforced during the day. However, aside from parking there for 2 minutes for the photos, I am a good boy and keep clear of them!

Thanks for all the kind comments guys..

As a side note, anyone know where to get a good aeroscreen, I swear my eyes start to bleed when going at 50 in the kitcar.

Unfortunately I had to cut the side panels to get them to fit (Angle of the round tube was wrong!)

I toyed with the idea of a fiberglass / carbon fibre sleeve like caterham do, but in the end time was pressing on and a nice bit of vinyl (Skillfully sewn up by the missus!) did the job nicely.

The first version of them blew off on the way to the first SVA, not only did it fail on sharp edges, but the missus was not happy having to sew up another pair. They are now glued and rivetted to keep them in place.

I am sure that given a little time I will create some moulds for a fiberglass sleeve!

NOW MINE!!!! W7DE

Hello all, just thought I would say hello and just to let you know that I am the latest owner of this W7DE. Just done 30 miles home, in the dry and loved it.
Doesn't really look like this now (new wheels, striped, some new seats on their way etc).

Look forward to seeing some more W7DE's on the road.

Miles
