wheel studs (what length??)

Hi just wondered if anyone could tell me what length wheel stud they use or I will require in a cortina front hub and also in a sierra rear disk hub for use with a mini light style wheels?
Thanks

I have the longest possible. Plan is to build up the bodywork, then look at how big the spacers need to be to maximise the track. Then cut the studs down if needed (which will be fun!).

I think the golden rule is something more complicated but I like to have at least 8 full turns of the nuts - ideally 10. So you will have to measure the hub thickness, and the wheel boss thickness and take it from there.
