Straight cut Type 9 Box

Good evening,

I am going to be purchasing a straight cut box for the kit car in the next few months.

Am willing to buy new, but first would like to see if anyone has one that they are getting tired off?

Open to different companies..quaife, trans-x etc

And ratios, preferably a long first with short 2-5 for a predicted top speed of 135mph.

If anyone has anything, knows of anyone selling one or see's one for sale can they please let me know.

Contact no. is 07867384175.

Many thanks, Dan

Do you need a straight cut box?

I ask because I recently watched a you tube clip of a race car running one and the noise was horrendous. No way you'd live with it other than on a race track and with a helmet and our ear plugs IMHO.

Not doubting your choice just curious BTW.

I do not need one at all.

I used to need them in my classic MINI's and have always had a soft spot for them.

I know they are lairy, loud, annoying etc. But My locost is purely for trackdays and pleasure.

I have a sensible M135i for daily use

...This all said, I can understand whay alot of people cant stand them!
