MK Seven (Caterham replica) - Fast road/track car (Duratec,Race cage etc)

The time has come to sell my great fast road and track kit car.

I purchased the car last year from 'redeye' on here, he has spent a number of years building the car to a great standard, originally with a pinto engine he tackled the monumental task of fitting the renowned Duratec engine. (Caterhams famous choice.)

During my ownership I have made a number of changes and spent a silly amount of money making it the car it is today.

Please find below the specification of the vehicle.

MK Seven Iva'd in 2007.
The car has done under 3,500 miles.
Mot and tax for at least 6months.
Full re-spray last year in BMW alpine white.
Genuine Caterham rear lights
Wide rear arches with stone guards
Caterham 7 front grill

Full Mk race cage powder coated black gloss with side bars fitted 6 months ago.
Live rear axle with 4.1 diff.
Brand new front wishbones last year.
All new Pro-tech dampers and springs re-valved at pro-comp to suit car.
Full geo set up and corner weighted at pro comp.
Standard rear drums.
Wilwood Prolite front calipers
Drilled and grooved front disks
Minted 1144 pads
Wilwood master cylinders

Omex 600 ecu.
Set up and rolling roaded at Northampton Motorsport.
190bhp and 154lb ft.
Standard type 9 box.

Brand new stack dials (oil pressure, water temp, fuel gauge, volts)
Brand new racetech speedometer and tachometer.
3 dashboards, one mdf wrapped in fake carbon, one in grp carbon look and one I have just made out of mdf un-finished.
Mountney suede D steering wheel
Grp and carbon fibre seats with seals around edge and harness holes.
Passenger fixed, drivers on rails.
TRS 3" race harnesses.

Carbon fibre naca duct in nosecone.
Carbon fibre aero screen.
Black dominator 4" headlights with bulb upgrades.
Long acre mirror to cage.
Carbon fibre side mirrors.
Brand new facet fuel pump.
Odyssey lightweight battery.
All blue silicone hoses in bay.
Fuel pressure regulater.
Fire extuisher

13x7 team dynamics pro race et20 for track wrapped in Toyo 888's 205 rears 185 fronts (loads of tread left)

There is also other oddments and parts, spare scuttle, nose cone, aero screen, naca ducts, old dashes, fog lights and lamps etc.

The car drives superbly, makes a fantastic noise and is a really quick car.

It has only had one track day at Blyton park where it performed faultlessly and was quicker than everything it found!

The car had a full service a few months ago, is always ran on optimax/super unleaded and has been cared for during my ownership.

Car is in a lovely condition, only fault is a cracked front left arch.

It's the only MK Seven I have ever seen with a Duratec and probably the only kit car with this spec and a Duratec under 10k! Grab yourself a bargain..

Priced with current specification £8,995.

Any questions welcomed, car is located in Lincolnshire.

Many thanks

Dan
