Hi I have used a Koso XR/SR see http://www.digital-speedos.co.uk/ It fills my needs and is a nice compact unit with speedo, tacho, fuel gauge, water temp.
Hope that helps

Bob

I will be using an acewell,,
It is Very Small, but I LIKE IT!!
Russbost has them.
mmm
Mine lacks water temp.
But I wet for Acewell plus Oil press, Water Temp, Voltage and Fuel level separate.
There are Acewell units that have Fuel Gauge too, But I wanted a separate gauge for gas.

I had a Trailtech Veypor which was pretty good for the money but I am replacing it with a Koso RX2n+ 10K which has a analog tacho.

Depends what you want from it really.
Acewell/Kosa are small and cheap

If you want some datalogging it might be worth looking into this one

Depends what you want I guess.

Not a fan of the cheaper digi dashes, I think they are too plasticy and dont think they look very good.

Take a look at the AIM dashes. The MXL starts at about £700, but you can pick them up secondhand for around the same money as the DD2 lite.

http://www.aim-tec.co.uk/pages/car/section_car_mxl.htm.html

They all do datalogging and you can use all your existing sensors, then some. Or if you are runing a std ecu you can just connect to that with CAN or RS232.

Same here, I'm not a fan of acewell/koso either. Have you had a look for a used stack one? You can't beat having an analogue rev counter either.

I'm going for the ETB digidash, you can get a full data logging version, or a cheaper instrument only one. As mentioned above, you can't beat a real rev counter, so budget for one of those too.

The stack ones are *nice* too.

I`ve designed a dash which has warning lights built in.
It has inbuilt data logging.
Look at www.tdash.co.uk

Thanks

I went for an Acewell of Russbost, Yep not the best and dont compare to the £500+ but for £100 doing everything you need, its a bargain!!!

The Race Technology Dash 2 is one of the best. I very nearly got one... before deciding analogue was the way forward.

i've got the ETB digidash, don't really see the need for an analogue rev counter as the shift lights tell you all you need to know

i always have revs in the LED section which is easy enough to read.

I have a Koso RX1 -

Small - good spec

Everything you need in one bundle, and not too expensive.
