New Fuel Tank
JAG - 9/5/25 at 04:31 PM

I’ve just bought a new fuel tank.

It was made to my drawing by Alloy Racing Fabrication.

I’m very pleased with it and here are some pictures for you…

Nice. Just over 8 gallons by my reckoning should give you a decent range. I don't see a fuel guage fitting; any reason not to have one? Did you put internal baffles in it?

I had a fuel tank made by Jim at ARF

Last year as well very happy with the results as well

Really knows his stuff

Yep just over 8 gallons

It has internal baffles and the Sump is capped

No fuel level sender simply because I didn’t have one before and it wasn’t a problem

I’m hoping to get it fitted and running in the next month

Looks good and well made. The splash guard is a good idea. Think I'll copy that when I need to replace my plastic MAC#1 one and have the filler cap on top of the tank, rather than using a flex pipe and filler on top of the rear deck which always takes an age to fill.

Thanks for posting.
