Noise reduction.

Anyone got any tips for quietening the noise from my car. I am hopeing to get on track at Donny , the exhaust is marginal on a six inch custom chrome (rust) silencer but the induction roar is way over the top.

Sounds like an Airbox is required, preferably with an inlet piped in from the nose to muffle the sound.

worth double checking the throttle balance as well, my VX 16v seemed a lot noisier when the throttles were SLIGHTLY out of balance (no idea why!?)
