The owner, Martin, was involved in some sort of road accident and has been in hospital. Don't know much more than that but that's the reason.

Afraid to say, although I don't know the legal position that my mate no longer has a job there. He was laid off just before xmas. I think it was a choice between Martin's health after his accident and the business.

I know some people here are on the Sylva List and will have seen Mark Fisher's post which has an update on Martin's condition. I'm not sure if i should post it all on here or not, but he was involved in a car accident back in October and was admitted to hospital again and had an emergency operation in December. He is apparently making a good recovery and they are doing all they can to minimise disruption.

They are completely unrelated to GTS at least as far as i know.

I think Martin owns Fisher Sports Cars as well, so nowt to do with GTS. The last I heard Martin had an emergency op and is busy recovering from that.

He does indeed own Fisher Sports Cars. Mark Fisher (the previous owner of Fisher) is doing some workshop stuff in the South East to help out apparently.

Any idea what's happening with the workshop? Is it shut for now, or for good? Or still unknown?

Sounds like the workshop opening hours are restricted while they are dealing with a bit of a backlog.

Is that the Rushden workshop or the other/Fisher (?) one?

Try Martin at MK Engineering, he does roll bars for most things. Im sure you can get the dimensions from somewhere.

I too am considering changing the bar on my Fury. While I have spoke to Martin at MK Engineering (after reading this) he can't do anything for about 2 weeks. So I might try KCW / Fisher down south to see if they have anything on the shelf that suits my needs.

That is assuming that they haven't change the pick up points that much over the years etc.
