i have thought and looked into this many times as i feel its only a matter of time before Im axle deep in kitty litter. i dont have a solution but i was thinking of making up a rope that attached to each upright. this would then have a loop spliced in half way which can then get attached to.

when used it will loop around the front of the nose cone without damaging it.

catch my drift?

maybe ill make a few and self them!!

I am thinking of making something up for my J15. I was currently thinking of picking up the bolts on the lower wisbones and bringing it down and out somehow. Ideas welcome at this point?

this has got me thinking about adding one to mine. i would want get it as central and forward as possible as down the side by wishbones etc could mean damage to the nose when at an angle.
i might look at trying to extend something structural behind the grill.

it's hard to extend anything from behind the nose cone on mine. the rad covers all framework and I would have concerns with it catching either the rad or GRP if pulled upwards to lift the car out of the litter.

I have knocked up this 4mm plate that fits under the front coil overs, I am going to attach an A frame made of ERW box section and a towing eye. Comments?
