New guy in the forum

Hi all,
Although I'm new to posting on here I have been lurking and reading your posts for a while so I thought it was time introduce myself. I have just moved up to Edinburgh from London and now have space at home to build stuff in.
Got a few fabrication projects that I need to get going in the workshop first but after that I like the idea of a Mcsorley chassis with inboard suspension and an alloy alfa v6 ....... don't know about the room in the engine bay tho .....
Anyway the forum has got to be the best one I have found for pretty much related to going fast on 4 wheels.
Thanks for all the infomation I've read so far!
Jamie

Welcome to the Mad House

'Johnmor' on the forum has used the alfa V6 to great effect, so it's more than possible. You can see some pics in his photo archive.

Good luck and keep us posted on how you do.

I used to have an Alfa 75 3.0V6, if you ude one of those for a donor you'll get a proper transaxle with an LSD thrown in for free!!!
Now that really should go!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

thanks guys, I have already checked out johnmors car and I'm glad that he managed to get a rwd gearbox to match up. I'm a bit dubious that the type9 can handle the way i'd want to drive it but if he has it running and hasn't broke it then thats good enough for me!
