High revs after brief cool down

Hi,
It's well recognised high revs before getting up to temp can cause engine damage but can anyone comment on what could happen if you drive hard using high revs after a 30 min ish cool down?
Did it today and in retrospect, probably wasn't the wisest thing to do so just thought I'd ask.
Engine is a 2.1 pinto. Water temp got down about 50deg ish, then set off at full chat. Anyone know if doing this would have been likely to cause engine damage? Probably worrying about nothing but any comments gratefully received!
Cheers,
Marc

I would think you will be ok it's not like setting of from cold and the oil will still be around the engine

And welcome to the mad house

Welcome aboard

Would have thought oil temp was more important but same as jacko said it wasn't from cold should be fine, the engine I'm using came out of one of my Capris, it's been ragged for yrs but looked after and is still a really good lump, good, strong, tweakable engines.

Thanks

Aaron
