redline in 5th is 175MPH, just hitting the rev limit before braking.

Screwing!!

All of that car and you are still only 2nd!

Only kidding, it is obviously quite a weapon.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Still hobbling with my leg and this is the first dry event I've had where the car has worked all day. Takes some getting use to as you'll imagine.

Still "bogging" a little of the line - must have cost you 1/2 sec, but looks pretty good everywhere else!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

It is so highly geared at the moment that the choice is wheel spin or bogging down. You'll notice a mistake on the 2nd to last corner when I don't shift down enough gears and end up in 2nd off boost, that would have cost buckets of time as well.

I didn't think it was too bad for an old bloke recovering from a broken right leg/ankle on his first proper run in an high powered Aero car.

Now where was that thread about 200BHP being too much in a light car

I think 200bhp in MOST light cars (particularly VERY light cars with the engine at the opposite end to the driven wheels) & under road conditions is easily enough, I am physically unable to use anything like the full performance of the Furore very often on the road & even then can only do so for a few seconds if I want to drive anything like sensibly & keep my licence

On a track with a decent set of sticky slicks, a full aero package & the engine at the right end of the car is a totally different ballgame!

Same argument I use to make about a 250 Aprilla or a 600cc Honda being all the bike you needed for the road...I was still out buying Honda CB1100RC & Honda VFR750R (RC30). Some things never change

I didn't say I was about to stick a 600cc engine in or detune mine either! On the odd occasions I do get to use the performance it still puts a huge silly grin on my face!
