When are we all meeting up again?

I trust you are all over Flu and the Lergy now.

Its a new year and it would be good to plan some meets ride outs etc

My car is off the road but will be game for a meet anytime really as long as my shifts will let me. Will go with what the majority want to do. Would be good to have a few runs out.

Any suggestions on where when we should go out/

Pity we hadn't arranged anything for today,i went for a blast around Howden back lanes for an hour.

I was going to go to the Milkbar (Squires) at Sherburn in Elmet but nobody was out playing.
Had a bit of fun with a Boxster who thought it was fast!!!!.

I was going to go for a ride out yesterday around the backroads of Howden aswell,
But I have put my cars key in a safe place.
If I dont find it today I will be fitting a new lock.

I would have gone out for a drive yesterday, but having been out celebrating my birthday on sat night, didn't trust myself to drive all day.

looks like the weathers not so good today so could be a bit hit and miss when we decide to go out for a run.
As to where - not worried be nice to get out anywhere

Hi guys, I'm taxed, not been out since xmas though, either due to the weather or other commitments.
Count me in, I'll go if I'm not busy.
A lot easier when its lighter and evenings are available again rather than only having the weekend for a run out.

How about Sunday the 8th Feb?

I am a bit busy until then but could leave that day free subject to weather being dry,not bothered about cold but i hate driving my car if its wet underfoot.
We would have to wake up check outside and make a call on if we go out or not.
We would have to let each other know and then arrange a meeting point,then decide where to go!
What about meeting at Shiptenthorpe roundabout garage and going for a ride to Scarborough.

Open to other ideas!!

A full Sunday's a bit long for me, family man and all, but count me in if its an early morning or weekday. Need it warmer and dryer though, roads very slippery at the moment. A bit tooooo much fun!

I'm happy with the cold but if it's wet I'm also duobious
Am however trying to get to Z cars that weekend to talk about new exhausts/tuning and I'm a bit busy on the saturday so was thinking about the sunday

im on the road again now so sunday is good for me weather permitting. could meet you and any others at beverley dave and go to shiptonthorpe from there.

Blooming depressing having a car like this and not being able to use it.
I think i will decorate my garage and use the car as an ornament!!!!

The forcast doesn't look too bad - nothing falling out of the skybut v cold - I'm thinking the roads won't be very forgiving!

I think Sunday maybe out blooming weather.

That said if anybody fancies a ride out tomorrow morning i am driving my car to Malton to a RR secion at Dynobike tuning.
I will be going from Howden to Shiptonthorpe and down the 1079 and A64 etc so if you fancy a spin out i could meet on route somewhere.
I have to be there around 9.30 a Malton so i will leave about 8 am from Howden and go steady.
Let me know

Been to z-cars this morning great set up
was v cold and despite the weather forcast - got snowed on
so I'm backing out of tommorrow - numb fingers and snow was not fun - all it will need tomorrow is a down pour and I'd be a miserable boy

No the feeling mate
Went to Malton this morning and couldnt stop shacking after two cups of tea!!
Blooming freezing and no fun spinning the arse end up on the 64 when dropping down a couple of gears to teach a numpty in his Golf gti a lesson for tail gateing me.

zx9r carbs, z cars, done and car back home and more expensive than i thought ! Goes really well though.
