Last night 8pm at 'The Talbot' in Belbroughton, Nr M5 Jct 4.

A meeting of minds and Locost builders took place. Beer was consumed and friendships were made. Most of us are 'in progress' and we all watched Dave Ashurst drive away in his completed car and all thought "Lucky bugger" - even though it was gently RAINING!

Needless to say the meeting provided many reasons to be glad for the Locost phenomenon and provided us all with yet more reason to go out in the garage and get 'it' finished.

We agreed to hold a monthly meeting on the first Monday of every month.

Anyone in the area who is even remotely interested in building one of these cars is more than welcome at the next event.

I had a great time - good to see so many people with the same obsession.

Dave - I hope you got back without getting too wet but I think you still had the best drive home!

Mark and Alice - best of luck for the SVA on 16th February.

Austen - next event could include a visit to my garage if that suits everyone.

There's bound to be a decent pub in/around Studley.
