'kin'ell! could be a good idea. It would be nice to get out in the seven... since the last WLM I went to (4th Jan) I have only been out once for a quick blast

Hope to see you there

BenB - 10/2/09 at 04:11 PM

Oooooh. Might be up for it if I can get into the garage at some point. Need to take the car for a blast to make sure my modified engine mount doesn't fall apart. Feels like I've been saying this for the last few months........... blooming weather!!!

Meeerrrk - 10/2/09 at 05:35 PM

Humbug - 10/2/09 at 05:51 PM

I should cocoa!

theconrodkid - 10/2/09 at 05:58 PM

we can make it newlands, box hill or anywhere else we can get some healthy food so open to suggestions as this is one of the last true democracy's left in this country,if not it will be newlands

Meeerrrk - 10/2/09 at 06:25 PM

well im planning on getting mine on the road for the first time this year on friday so i'd be up for a sunday meet somewhere

Humbug - 10/2/09 at 08:09 PM

John - can I suggest that you edit the title to "WLM" or "Newlands" or something more like a meeting... unless you're trying to hide ot from people

theconrodkid - 10/2/09 at 08:39 PM

done

Meeerrrk - 10/2/09 at 09:04 PM

ok your going to laugh, but what is the "WLM" bit all about?

bob - 10/2/09 at 10:09 PM

WLM = west london mafia

Yup i'm gagging for a run out and a bacon roll at newlands.

Also the normal talking B0##0cks and tyre kicking, and we ban truebue (steve) from going anywhere near front uprights as its starting to get on my nerves

According to Google "A unit of measure used to determine cumulative exposure to radon"

...or, "West London Mafia". Not sure where that came from. I think Conrod and Bob are from that neck of the woods, though neither of them seems very Italian .

bob - 10/2/09 at 10:20 PM

"A unit of measure used to determine cumulative exposure to bacon rolls"

or west london mafia.

nice search, conrod will be impressed

Chippy - 10/2/09 at 10:42 PM

Hi, might drag up in the tin top, the "Pie" is all in bits, and on SORN at the mo! Too much work, not enough time. Cheers Ray

Its as always weather permiting on the day,i dont bother much with the forecasts and just have a look out of the window on the day.

As long as its dry i'm up for it, the only problem i have will be sunday being mrs bobs birthday so i may well make it bright and early and be back for midday.

Meeerrrk - 11/2/09 at 08:52 PM

sounds good to me, got things to do on sunday myself so an early morning (early for sunday!) would suit me

Maybe we ban him altogether unless he brings protographic evidence that he's actually attached the wishbone brackets to the car! Doing so has only taken him 2 years of faffing so far!

Cheers,
James

Meeerrrk - 13/2/09 at 03:51 PM

10am sounds ok; weather looks positively tropical!

bob - 13/2/09 at 07:03 PM

I think a fair few are gagging to get out in the cars for a change, hopefully will give me a chance to test the new camera.

10 am is fine, i'm hoping to be there before that.

Meeerrrk - 13/2/09 at 07:28 PM

Humbug - 15/2/09 at 09:07 PM

Good to get a run out today and see some of the crew. Also, it was a wee bit warmer than the last time I was there (but not much...)

James - 16/2/09 at 12:15 AM

Nice to have seen you all.

Nice to have met you and your girlfriend too Mark. Cheers for the burger offer!

Hope you can get the engine problems sorted soon.... the car looked fantastic so hope it won't be long before it's back on the road!

Cheers,
James

bob - 16/2/09 at 02:48 PM

That was a shame as mark was really looking forward to getting to a meet, i hope its just a case of a rethread and your away.

Meeerrrk - 16/2/09 at 06:17 PM

spoke to andy at AB performance today and its going to him to have the head off and new inserts (not helicoils) fitted. bugger. I was taking it to him this month anyway for a billet & baffled sump & clutch springs so it isnt too much hassle, just expensive!
