Silverstone Classic 24th-26th July - Who's going?

I will be there, camping at Whittlebury golf course (tintop and camping box!) from Thursday to Monday

Other Half (DLT) is going with his mates, camping from Thursday to Sunday, but near the circuit entrance.......

Sadly, I am not...... ...... (recovering from a certain oink 'illness' ) ....

They do NOT know what they are missing Mark ...

Keep a look out for the XK's race......a load of my old racing mates in that... it looks like a 'slow' race...but it really isn't.....they have to be 'as per' .... so they are very, very heavy and quite a handful!

If you see 3 dodgy looking geezers on push bikes, it's probably them....I have lent DLT mine this year...(McLaren colours)....

or, if you go paddock side, they could be helping their other mates out who are looking after a blue Lola T70, and you see a tall, slim, Hairy Cornflake.....say 'hello'.....

My favorite last year was the Porsche 911 race, 50 911's right on the ragged edge blasting around, and the fire marshall in a Jag only 0.1 of a second behind going as cool as a cucumber - respect!!
