I suppose you're all wondering why I called you here?
Well, it has come to my attention that several people on this forum claim to be Yorkshiremen or at least live in Gods county and yet we
never see them at the Yorkshire meetings.
This must cease.
This Wednesday the 14th of April is the day for the Yorkshire meet, 7.30pm at the Beverleys arms(Friar Tucks) on the roundabout at the junction of the
A628/A638 Ackworth nr Pontefract.
Come and see us - we don't bite (hard), you might get gently ribbed, you might get the wee totally ripped out of you - who knows?
Of course if you don't come we might just suspect that you are bathing in the reflected glory of the White Rose and you could be from elsewhere,
even, and I hesitate to say this, from L***ashire.
Bring a whippet as proof, any Derbyshire lads attending may bring a sheep, as is the custom.

I haven't logged in to LB for a good week (changed jobs, no nedding at work no more)
Oh well, I didn't get the car taxed at the beginning of April (and no way am i paying for two weeks that i didn't use), so May it is then -
