Lotus on Track- opinions?
Humbug - 14/9/06 at 01:07 PM

Is anyone a member or has been on any of their events?

I went along with a number of other Locostbuilders to the Brands Hatch day in June (thanks, Shortie), but that was just watching, so I was wondering if anyone has participated in an LoT day anywhere?

With my car on the road for nearly a year, I thought it was about time to try it out on a track.

Thanks in advance.

Shortie , Ned , DLT and I went to their very wet trackday/evening at Brands in May.

The VX and Elise owners accepted a measly Locost OK.

DLT enjoyed it so much he bought the car!!(vx220)

So do you have to be a (paid-up?) member to go to their trackdays?

I also went along to watch the racing at Brands in their box (thanks again Shortie!) and had a great time.

Hmmphhhhhh! Don't remind me of that day!.....

DLT muscled in with my Lotus on Track membership and my trackday payment......on that very wet day .....while I didn't make it......

The plus side is that we now have a wet and dry track day toy.........so smiles all round.....again.......eventually......

bear in mind life membership is only £60 odd and with the free tickets you can get to the brands hospitality box and entry to events and good value trackday's you quickly save the money back.

Ned.

Superb bunch of lads! Well organised trackdays.......cheap!

Err..keep it quiet though....more members means it's gettin harder and harder to get places on popular circuits!

I joined them in February and have since been on four of their track days (Silverstone GP twice, Rockingham, and Brands Indy). They're an excellent bunch, with a lot of good drivers with good track etiquette, and cars of similar ability. I'd recommend them very highly.
