Went to newark, saw Hicost's creation (that man needs profesional help ) but other than that was a bit dissapointed at what i thought was a
pretty poor turnout from manufacturers/suppliers.
Oh the two tarts in Bikinis helped brighten the day
Yep,they were tarts alright
But good to meet a few people from here,in fact more than i,ve met before which is good.
Generally a good time was had by all i think.
Newark seems to have developed into more of a club scene rather than lots of suppliers / manufacturers which, in some respects, is a refreshing
change. You get the chance to see a lot of people from this forum, drink lots of beer and be entertained, in the absence of the Chris G show, by ABBA
wannabes in short skirts!!
Although there was a lack of suppliers, I could have spent hundreds, everything I wanted or needed was there.
I'll be back for more next year and I know of at least three more cars that will be on the road by then (Bob, Rory, me etc)

well i was a lil disapointed with it but all in all it was an ok day! just not as good as i thought it would be!
on the subject of tarts wasnt it good to see a young lady who was so patriotit, erm i mean patriotic, LOL!
however i did buy a few useful items! and found the prices resonable. only managed to put one face to a name however.

Yeah, it was a good couple of days - again, good to put faces to names.
Camping over was good. I think we've managed to prove how healthy or otherwise veggie burgers are, and the explosive power of batterys.
I am officially a redneck this weekend, too. weather was wikkid. Did Miss Newark get em out for the lads? By the time i clocked her, Mrs H had
turned up with number one son, so i had to stop stalking her...
Next biggie is Donnington park in september. Camp Over Jim - its the best way to meet people and chat!
We also found out that big yellow flames will set fire to tinder dry grass...
And that Matthew snores and punching him in the head fails to stop him...

actually got to the right place at the right time and didnt screw up!
Well, apart from camping in the wrong place cos I couldnt find a green escort at 1pm saturday (hid that well bob) - and had to put up with the noise
of a cackling bitch doing an impression of a hyena 2 tents down.
It didnt sound like Miss Newark......
I left just after I met up with ChrisG (who also seems to exist) and the rest of the guys at the locost enclosure, and Miss Newark was trying her best
to look sexy with her mate and model some industrial pump motors on the way out. It must have been a tougthie for her, but I bet she did a better job
than any of us coulda!

Well, I was there. I was helping my son who had a stand in Hall 3 selling his Max Power shiny, sparkling bits.
I didn't get much chance on Sunday to walk about, but managed a quick walk round, about 11am Sat, didn't see anyone I knew until later when
I met Marcus and Roland.
The show is going downhill I'm afraid. There were less traders and more Club stands. You're right it's turning into a Club meet
show.
I can understand why some of the traders don't bother anymore. The stand charges whilst fairly reasonable take some re-couping out of profits.
My son did fairly well but taking the gross profit margin, subtracting the costs (fuel etc) and we both stood the stand for £1 an hour each overall
!!!! Would you do that ?
He's more interested in getting his effort promoted, than the reward at the moment.
I'm just being the driver/labourer, you can't hire or insure a van until you're 21, some companies say 25!

I was there 12 till 3ish Sunday. Saw chrisg on his way to the shareholders meeting and Chris PTM. Parked my car with the others and wandered round
the stalls for the rest of the time. It's more like an autojumble for me. I'll have to make more effort at Donington, get there earlier.
