Set in its own magnificent car park, The Beverlys Arms in Ackworth Near Pontefract is the ideal venue for a meeting of Locost enthusiasts. A stones throw from the picturesque A628/A638 roundabout "Friar Tucks" as it is known to the locals it nestles between the quaint garden centre and the stupendous Suzuki garage. The best time to visit this haven is on the second wednesday of the month, the 8th of October in this case. The aincient ceremony of the LocostMeet takes place. At the witching hour of 7.30 pm the elders gather to talk the sacred "bollocks" will you join them?

Surrey Dave - 6/10/03 at 11:01 PM

There's a lot of "Sacred Bollocks" talked by 'Locosters'..............................

I should know , I am one ( a Locoster that is!)

chrisg - 6/10/03 at 11:46 PM

Ah but these are special bollocks, spoken in the Yorkshire way!

If anyone don't get it (again!)

It's the Yorkshire meet on Wednesday night - all welcome, except Judith Chalmers.

Special this month

Drag Racing

Bob - I KNOW i aint shooting blanks mate (but then again Im not a born and bred northerner)

Mark H - 7/10/03 at 12:16 PM

Why has the word nutsack (one I've never used in my life before) replaced bolloks (Spelt differently to get round Chris W's cunning)?!

But it didnt change Chridg's nutsack on his post?

Hmmm...

I have a special "bollocks licence"

bollocks bolocks bollocks.............

Do a preview, and, if it's been changed to nutsack, take out one of the L's. It seems to be completely random!

Cheers

Chris

And Steve, that's why we have it there!

JoelP - 7/10/03 at 05:54 PM

[Edited on 7/10/03 by JoelP]
