just plopped through my letter box, invite to "langleybury classic car show",may 11th,11am-5pm
£3 a car to display, ive never been there so dont know what its like, anyone interested mail me or see me at newlands on sunday for an entry form
You have to pay the organisers to display your own car - giving them a show to charge the public to see??
Is this normal?? Only shows i've ever been too give free entry to those who are displaying including one at RAF Valley for the air show!!!
Langleybury Nr Watford?
Langleybury Nr Watford?
yup

Don't care where it is I for one would not pay to display !
I paid a fiver to display at the uxbridge auto show, actually it was cheaper than entrance on the day and parking in the council car park so a bargain
£3 seems a good deal to me
a lot of these shows, uxbridge included are run by volunteers and any money left over goes to charities.
the land has to be rented, there is insurance and all manner of other stuff to orginise, passes to print and post, flyers to print,it isnt cheap doing
something like this. so to display your pride and joy for the day and hopefully have a good time for a few quid or a pint of beer, whats better
value?

Looks like quite a few events happening locally, theres another car show in rickmansworth on the same day, might try and get to both!
