Hi, does anyone know what value of resistor is needed to trick the circuit and switch off the fuel light on the clocks?

Thanks,
Steven.

connect a pot and test it out! should be easy!

or just disconnect the bulb

I've put a 500ohm variable resistor in parallel with mine and connected it up to the tank sender (with a diode to stop it affecting the dash gauge). That way the low level light will still work. I can just adjust it to get the light on when I want.

A resistor in the 50 ohm region will stop the fault code. ECU expects between 20ohm (full tank) and 140 ohm (empty)

Cheers Adrian, thanks for that!

The light may stay on (but not flash) after you put the resistor in for 5km.

sow 120ohms is the way to go...
maybe a half watt unit needed.
