For better or worse .. Peterborough

Hi all

For better or for worse I have decided to build a locost (I blame the Guiness!)

Anyway was wondering if there were any meets around the peterborough/ Huntingdon/ March area?

Would have to come in the daily for (about the next ten years!) but would love to meet people that have been through the pain!

Cheers

N3

Welcome to the Mad House!

If your building the chassis yourself, consider the Haynes roadster. Its a bit more sorted than the locost one. Also gives you an independant rear end, and uses sierra as a donor. Finding an Escort, and cortina parts will be expensive, as they are getting rare.
Even Sierra's are getting thin on the ground.

Use the search facility on there, as its all been done before.
Dont be afraid to ask, there is an abundance of knowlege and experience on here. (kit car or even just general knowlege)

Above all have fun...

EDIT:

Newark show is 20/21 June. Worth a visit to look and talk kit cars. Especially the owners stands.
Visit us on the Luego Owners plot and dont forget the Locost and MK groups as well.

Spending a weekend talking to all the people and looking at their cars (to get Ideas, and see what, and how to do things) will be a big boost, and well worth the time spent. It can make your build easier, by having an idea of what you are aiming for.

1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
