I was thinking the same.

At the end of the 90's i did the whole weekend and camped down there and it still only cost me £70,now its that much for a saturday with a seat.

I've been to the FoS once and thought it was a waste of time.

Also been to the Revival (twice) and that is something else! Real racing in cars that don't all look the same

Have to argee. The FoS isn't all it's made out to be. There are some damn nice roads round the area though. Try the Revival, much better. And if your old man is moving Aston Martin's press fleet in a big truck you may even be able to drive the AM V8 BEFORE it was in production!! And get mud all over the underside. Been bragging about it ever since

I've got to admit the revival is the better show by far, prices are the same for the revival as well but i actually think you get your money's worth there.

Also a trip to the charity shops during the year for some pre 1965 clobber to where and you can dress up for it too.

I first went to the revival three years ago and was really impressed. Have been to the revival every year since and tried the festival of speed once and was disappointed. There is no comparison - took the whole family to the revival last year in period gear - awesome blackmail potential!
