Championship Points on the Web
Hi All
I've volunteered to pull together the points system for the Welsh Sprint & Hillclimb Chapionship next year as we're trying to move to
a better system (MIdlands).
I've put this year's times (so far) into a spreadsheet (pretty complicated) and exported this to a web page. I'm looking for
comments on the page and the format before spending any more time on this! If you could spare a minute, the results are
here
There are a few glitches which I'll pick up on the next revision.
Regards
Wyn

Looks good, just had a peak at the code. looks nice, havent seen anything quite like this before.
Did you write it your self, or was it generated by something?
If it was generated and you fancy getting some software developed to stick stuff in and out of excel/DBs im always after some practical experience.
ill even do it for free just for the experience!
Personaly probaly would have used a mySQL database, but thats cuz i have experience with them and none with removing data directly from an excel sheet
and on to a html page.
But ya it looks good, nicely set out and easy to use. also quite quick !
Good job man
John

Hi John
Sadly, the code is all courtesy of Gates and Co - it's a direct export from Excel - it's fine for this purpose as I want to post the data
from my spreadsheet to the www not the sheet itself as it's a bit big!
I was planning on coding this myself, using a back end database but this is so much quicker and will, therefore, give me more garage time!!
