I'm there. It was supposed to be a shakedown for the quickshift install but the linkage failed again. Still, the forecast is sunny so I'll struggle by using the clutch Say hello if you do come along.

I was there yesterday and had a fantastic day. Only 30 or so cars there and open pit lane. Great circuit but quite scary as there are lots of blind crests.

If you spot the dead squirell at the side of the track just before druids - that was my doing!!

It was only the nose cone and bodywork damaged AFAICS. Strange tho, the lads from MK had gone to all the trouble to be there, distribute brochures and price lists but their trailer was deserted each of the two or three times we went along for a chat later in the day. One of my pals was keen to speak with them after checking out the prices and having a ride in my car. Hey ho.

I agree with Jubal, it would help us (ie potential customers) if the trade made more of identifying themselves.

Fair comment but after being specially introduced at the briefing I thought they'd be trying harder. It still meant an empty area was all potential buyers saw.

As for me, I'm too busy to have a go at building. I'm keeping my car, maybe an engine change to tide me over for a year till people get bored and start selling on the new cars they've built
